Hillside Children’s Center

Services Provided: Information and referral on all aspects of adoption and foster care and support to concerned individuals and organizations. Will assist families interested in a waiting child to obtain training and home studies. Services include annual conference, international / domestic homestudies, birthmother support network, search support for birth families, monthly homestudy and information classes, and pre & post adoption parent support groups. Youth support groups also available.


Oneida County Department of Social Services

Services Provided: Public Agency. 10 week, 30 hour MAPP training offered 2x a year. Usually Tuesday evenings for 3 hours at the County building. Orientation meetings held 2X a year prior to class. Maximum of 24 in class. Employment and personal references required. In need of families for school age children, large sibling groups, and children with disabilities.
