Children at Heart Adoption Services, Inc

Services Provided: Children At Heart is a Hague accredited, 501(c)(3) non-profit adoption agency, founded in 1995. We are approved in the state of NY and licensed in the state of NC to facilitate domestic and international adoptions for all US citizens living in any state, or abroad. We also provide home study, post-placement, and post-adoption services for NY and NC residents.

Family Focus Adoption Services

Services Provided: Serving NY families from Long Island through the Capital District, serving children nationwide. Waiting Child (NY and interstate adoption from the foster care system); Intercountry (Hague Accredited) homestudies and post-placement reports; Newborn homestudies and placement services. Specialty: adoption of children 8 yrs.+ and special needs. Adoption Certification Classes in Queens, Capital District and Mid-Hudson. Parsons Child & Family Center

Services Provided: Parsons Child & Family Center provides foster, pre-adoptive and kinship homes for children in care. Orientations and foster/adoptive/ kinship parent precertification trainings offered virtually and in person. Each child and family is assigned a skilled Permanency Care Manager to provide case management service in the foster/adoptive/kinship home with the foster/adoptive/kinship parent and youth. Saratoga County Department of Social Services

Services Provided: 30 Hour MAPP training held 3x yearly. Spring, Winter and Fall. Schedule varies from 6 to 10 weeks. Orientation/information meetings held monthly at Cty office, call for times. County works with Parsons adoptive parent support groups, and refers to local agencies for support services. Employment references required. Need families for teens 12+
