“Reframing Parenting Program” for Adoptive, Foster, Guardianship, and Kinship families.

The Reframing Parenting Program is a therapeutic parenting series for parents raising children who have been impacted by trauma. The program is based on the book “Foundations for Attachment Training” by Kim Golding.

We will review the areas of focus that this program addresses: Challenges of parenting the traumatized child; Trauma Informed therapeutic parenting, Understanding attachment history, and Self-care & blocked-care. Free event. Light meal provided.

The Lesbian and Gay Family Building Project The Lesbian and Gay Family Building Project was founded in 2000 and is dedicated to helping lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer (LGBTQ) people in Upstate New York achieve their goals of building and sustaining healthy families.
