Learn techniques for self-care, mindfulness, physical fitness, and balance in this four week series that explores evidence based approaches to managing stress.
We all have stress in our lives whether from job, family, lifestyle, or past experiences. Finding a healthy way to re-balance in the face of stress is a great benefit that yoga offers.
This is a gentle, accessible practice, designed for a general audience. The main expectation is that you show up and breathe.
A number of studies have shown that yoga may help reduce stress and anxiety. It can also enhance your mood and overall sense of well-being.
Led by Sarah Carlson
As an adoptee from the foster system, Sarah understands first hand many of the challenges that youth from this experience may encounter, and the impacts on the family members that love and support them. This class is designed to support parents or siblings in finding techniques for optimal health, managing stress, and in modeling these approaches to support to their family.
In her own journey, she has found yoga to be an incredibly useful tool in managing her mind and body for having the best life. We ask that whenever possible, you commit to the four-week series.
