Services Provided: Treatment Family Foster Care program that works with hard-to-place youth who cannot stay at home but do not do well in group settings. At Cayuga Centers, these youth are placed with highly trained and supported treatment foster parents. Foster parents and youth work with a team of specialists to meet the goals of changing negative behaviors and developing positive ones. Cayuga Centers offers two Treatment Family Foster Care programs: Central New York and New York City. Each location has an ongoing recruitment program for foster families.

Community Maternity Services
Services Provided: Multi-Service private non profit agency serving 14 counties in Albany Roman Catholic Diocese. Three adoption programs: Healthy Infant, International, and Special Needs/Waiting Kids. Schoharie County Department of Social Services
Services Provided: 30 Hour MAPP class held 2 x yearly (Spring and Fall). Callers are sent basic information, placed on a waiting list for next class and invited to orientation meeting held approximately 2 weeks prior to class. Application paperwork begins at orientation.

St. Catherine’s Center for Children
Services Provided: Multi-service agency providing community based and residential services, and therapeutic foster care for children who have emotional and behavioral needs that may be treated in a home setting by specially trained foster parents. Foster Parent Recruiting/Training, 10 week MAPP classes are held in the spring and Fall. Usually on a Tuesday evening from 5:30-8pm. Will provide individual training as needed. Call to schedule an intake appointment. Foster Parents receive on going training, monthly paid respite, and 24 hour emergency services.
