Update the Adoption and Foster Care Therapist Network Directory

Adoption & Foster Care Therapist Network (AFCTN) Service Directory

The Coalition believes that the long-term stability and happiness of New York State’s most vulnerable children depends on a sufficient supply of well-trained and supported caregivers who have the ability to connect with adoption and foster care competent clinicians who can help address any emotional and behavioral issues.

As a program of the Adoptive and Foster Family Coalition of New York,  the Adoption & Foster Care Therapist Network (AFCTN) seeks to enhance the ability of individuals impacted by adoption, kinship and foster care to have access to mental health professionals who have a clinical expertise in adoption, foster care, trauma, and/or attachment issues. It seeks to achieve its mission by promoting clinical training opportunities for mental health professionals and to have an accessible list of adoption competent mental health professionals to facilitate access to mental health professionals for individuals seeking mental health services.
