Services Provided: Full Service agency – assists with domestic infant, international, older/special needs and adoptions. Comprehensive information about all aspects of adoption. Initial confidential interviews, home studies, post-placement services,complete documentation for legalization as required by the court. Will act as a liaison for adoptive parents with international agencies, and assist them in meeting the requirements for U.S. immigration and consult with attorneys for adoptive parents in private adoption cases. Fees for home study and CFC placements are based on a sliding fee scale or a flat rate, depending on the type of adoption. Information meetings held monthly

Hillside Children’s Center

Services Provided: Information and referral on all aspects of adoption and foster care and support to concerned individuals and organizations. Will assist families interested in a waiting child to obtain training and home studies. Services include annual conference, international / domestic homestudies, birthmother support network, search support for birth families, monthly homestudy and information classes, and pre & post adoption parent support groups. Youth support groups also available.


Seneca County Division of Human Services

Services Provided: Foster Care, Adoption, Respite services. Inquiries are asked to complete an application and then a caseworker will schedule an appointment to meet with you. MAPP class is a 10 week preparation curriculum for all adults interested in pursuing Foster Care/Adoption. Multiple checks are completed (fingerprinting, child abuse, Justic Center, Probation)as well as proof of financial stability and medical documentation from your doctor stating you are fit to provide foster care/adoptive services. A homestudy is completed by the caseworker.
