Family Services of Westchester

Services Provided: Full service adoption agency providing home studies and post placement services for domestic and international adoption. No set fee schedule, will work with families on payment arrangements and develop cooperative service relationships with other agencies. Orientation held monthly, Agency has full range of counseling and support services for adoptive families including a pre-adoption support group.


Hopscotch Adoptions

Services Provided: New York office address for Hopscotch Adoptions, Inc., a not for profit, international adoption agency authorized in New York and licensed in North Carolina as a child-placement agency, founded 2006. Hopscotch has been Hague Accredited since 2008. Programs include adoption of children from the Armenia, Bulgaria,Republic of Georgia, Ghana, and Morocco. Special needs programs for children with Down syndrome and spina bifida available. Home Study, Post Adoption and Education Services available to all NY, NC and any US citizen living abroad.

Services Provided: From the beginning of the adoption process through the post-adoption stage, New Beginnings provides comprehensive international adoption services required for a successful adoptive placement. We will manage your paperwork and your home study. We will coordinate the different parties so our mutual interests coincide. Spence-Chapin Services to Families and Children

Services Provided: Spence-Chapin has been providing adoption services for over 100 years. We provide support to all people connected to adoption.  From our home study services to our post adoption counseling services, and everything in between to support you with resources, groups, and community activities. Suffolk County Department of Social Services

Services Provided: Ten week MAPP course begins approximately every 6 weeks. Times vary to accommodate individual schedules. Orientation held 3 X a month. Homes needed for teens and children with special needs. All materials available in Spanish. No Spanish only training, but will work with families who can provide translator. Spanish speaking families who call the resource line will be directed to and assigned to Spanish speaking staff. Agency runs own therapeutic foster home program. Agency provides support for independent F/A parent group, F-PAC of Suffolk County.

Wide Horizons for Children

Services Provided: Main NYS office of Massachusetts Based Adoption Agency which provides domestic and international adoption support and counseling services. Includes adoption information meetings and educational events in several locations in New York State. They work cooperatively with local NYS licensed agencies to provide home study and post-placement services to families outside their service area. Other offices in Albany and NYC.


You Gotta Believe!

Services Provided: Multi county agency that contracts with ACS and surrounding counties to train and find homes for older kids 10+. Orientation held at multiple locations throughout the NY metro area each week. Call our office Monday through Friday during business hours at or email for more information. Families can begin 10 week training course same day/evening they attend orientation. Families taking course must agree to older child placement.
