Services Provided: Full Service agency – assists with domestic infant, international, older/special needs and adoptions. Comprehensive information about all aspects of adoption. Initial confidential interviews, home studies, post-placement services,complete documentation for legalization as required by the court. Will act as a liaison for adoptive parents with international agencies, and assist them in meeting the requirements for U.S. immigration and consult with attorneys for adoptive parents in private adoption cases. Fees for home study and CFC placements are based on a sliding fee scale or a flat rate, depending on the type of adoption. Information meetings held monthly

Services Provided: Serving NY families from Long Island through the Capital District, serving children nationwide. Waiting Child (NY and interstate adoption from the foster care system); Intercountry (Hague Accredited) homestudies and post-placement reports; Newborn homestudies and placement services. Services Provided: Hudson Valley Adoption Services is a not-for-profit, non-sectarian, licensed and NYS approved adoption agency based in Kingston, New York. Adoption services include Adoption Homestudies and specialized adoptive parent training for domestic and international adoption. Al;so provides a variety of NYS Adopotion Law Services.


Sullivan County Department of Social Services

Services Provided: 30 hour MAPP Training twice a year. Orientation held individually with prospective parents at DSS. Prefers to complete application, clearances, etc. prior to enrollment in class. Will arrange for in-home training if travel to class location is impossible. Need special families for children of all ages.
