Do you know a child that hits and throws things a lot? Do you know a child that shuts down, melts down, or runs away? Does this child like to be always busy and have a hard time listening and paying attention unless he/she is doing what he/she likes to do? Do you find yourself getting frustrated and impatient often? Saying “NO!” and “Stop!” all the time?

These kinds of repetitive challenging behaviors can isolate children and interfere with smooth development. They also leave parents and caregivers feeling like they don’t know what else to do or try and everyone gets exhausted.

Family Forever is please to present Christy Bezrutczyk, co-owner of Adirondack Helping Hands located in Cadyville, NY, an early intervention and preschool special education program.

Join Christy for a fresh approach to managing challenging behaviors where she will use live demonstrations and video to illustrate concrete ways to understand the emotion behind the behavior and why it is happening. She will identify specific strategies you can use anywhere to handle difficult behavior in the children in your life.
