Liz is one of our best trainers and just blew everyone away with her Panic training this week. Don’t miss this one.  Participants will have a brief overview of the components of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), and why this is the first line treatment for extinguishing this debilitating anxiety disorder. This training will help participants learn to assess and understand symptoms, mechanisms of fueling the disorder and teach clients to implement effective techniques . They will then learn to develop a hierarchy of OCD symptoms, create in vivo exposure lists and implement exposure/response prevention techniques that extinguish symptoms.

Liz is one of our very best trainers. Her trainings are always of the highest quality and based on latest research. If you are working with this population (and we all are), this training is a must.

The training is April 23, 2019 from 1-4 at the Emergency Service Center on Wells Farm Road in Goshen, NY

The cost is $25 for 3 continuing education contact hours for social workers, mental health counselors, psychoanalysts, creative arts therapist, and marriage & family therapists. Full attendance is required to receive credit; variable credit for partial attendance may not be awarded based on State Board guidelines. We apologize, but if you arrive late, please don’t ask us to make an exception and give you a certificate anyway. We have been told that the trainings will sometimes be audited and we can not risk losing our ability to give Continuing Education contact hours because you got there late. We have no way of determining who is and isn’t an auditor and do not want to take a chance. We are all professionals and getting there before the trainings start is what would be expected of any professional.
