Participants will have a brief overview of the components of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), and why this is the first line treatment for extinguishing this debilitating anxiety disorder. This training will help participants learn to assess and understand symptoms, mechanisms of fueling the disorder and teach clients to implement effective techniques . They will then learn to develop a hierarchy of OCD symptoms, create in vivo exposure lists and implement exposure/response prevention techniques that extinguish symptoms.

Liz is one of our very best trainers. Her trainings are always of the highest quality and based on latest research. If you are working with this population (and we all are), this training is a must.

The training is from 1-4 at the Emergency Service Center on Wells Farm Road in Goshen, NY

The cost is $25 for 3 continuing education contact hours for social workers, mental health counselors, psychoanalysts, creative arts therapist, and marriage & family therapists.
