Introduction to Re-framing Parenting Series: A Program for Parents of Traumatized Children
Reframing Parenting is a therapeutic parenting series for adoptive, foster, guardianship and kinship parents raising children who have been impacted by trauma. The program is based on the book Foundations for Attachment Training by Kim Golding.
We will introduce the areas of focus that this program addresses: challenges of parenting the traumatized child, trauma informed therapeutic parenting, understanding attachment history, self care and blocked care.
