If you are parenting a child who joined your family through a domestic or international adoption, or who came into your care through the foster care system, or you are an adopted youth, then this group is for you

  • Adopted Youth have the opportunity to connect with others sharing similar backgrounds, in an environment that allows for open an unjudged sharing.
  • Adoptive Parents meet to discuss issues relevant to their families, and receive support to help their families thrive!
Join us as we discuss topics relating to the unique needs of adoptive families and their children.
We will learn therapeutic parenting techniques, and offer practical advice and support to help you and your family be the best you can be!
Leave with a sense of community, knowing you are not alone, and there are people and resources that can assist you. 
Dinner provided.

Meetings for adoptive parents and adopted youth are typically held on the second Thursday evening of each month from 6:00-8:00PM, in collaboration with, and at the offices of FREE (Family Residences and Essential Enterprises, Inc.), 191 Bethpage-Sweethollow Road, Old Bethpage, NY 11801.
