Free Remote Support Group for Adoptive and Kinship Parents

For adoptive or guardianship families in Cortland, Cayuga, Madison & Chenango Counties

We will provide educational discussion based concepts of self-care, advocacy support for your child through their sometimes difficult
behavior, and a safe space to connect with other parents who share similar experiences. The CNY Parent Support Group will be hosted by CNY Family Support Specialists Ellen and/or Michele.

We gather together to help each other look through the lens of “What is that behavior trying to tell me” and how can I help. This isn’t an intuitive process for many. Having perspectives from “outside” the family can make this an easier journey.

Network was created to provide a safe online space for New York’s adoptive, foster and kinship families to come together in the spirit of connection and support.
