AFCTN is proud to host a supervision day with Dr. Jon Baylin, co-author of The Neurobiology of Attachment Based Therapy and Brain Based Parenting with Dan Hughes, Ph.D.  Jon Baylin, Ph.D. will be presenting a brain-based model of therapeutic processes applicable for interpersonal and intrapersonal treatment contexts.  The core of this model focuses on relational processes and especially how nonverbal communication contributes to trust building and safe engagement to lay the foundation for “higher level” therapeutic work. 

Mental health professionals are encouraged to bring in case materials for supervision.

This event is open to practitioners/clinicians who have already had some formal training in AEDP, EFT, DDP or other attachment focused or trauma focused training.
