This presentation will give parents an overview of how planning for their child’s transition to adulthood is incorporated into the IEP at age 15.  Parents will learn how future goals will be identified and how needed transition activities to reach those goals can be provided to the student.  The importance of parent involvement and the student’s participation in the transition planning process will be discussed.  For more information contact jhawk@wihd.org.
