North American Council on Adoptable Children (NACAC)

The North American Council on Adoptable Children (NACAC) is seeking applicants who want to send a group of young adult leaders (ages 18-25) and staff supporters to a free leadership and advocacy training on May 5–7, 2017 in Minnesota (attendees will travel to Minnesota on May 4). NACAC is able to provide this training through the support of Jockey International’s Jockey Being Family® initiative. Participant travel, lodging, and meals provided during the training will be covered by NACAC.

NACAC will provide attendees:

  • a three-day training on Friday, May 5 through Sunday, May 7
     

    (Thursday, May 4will be a travel day)

  • up to three nights of lodging (you must share a room with another scholarship recipient or pay half of room costs)
  • the costs of airfare (arranged by NACAC) or mileage for driving to Minneapolis (luggage fees and airport transportation costs are not covered)
  • breakfast and lunch on the three days of the training (dinners are on your own)
