Ana Gundlach has been working in the non-profit and mental health field for over ten years with a BA in Social Welfare from the University of Wisconsin, Madison which is also her home town. Before moving to Ithaca in 2014, she lived in San Diego for 5 years where she learned about Case Management and Harm Reduction through her work in Clubhouse International and on an Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team.
After moving to Ithaca (which to Ana feels like a much smaller version of Madison, WI – only with more waterfalls) Ana continued working with Case Management and Harm Reduction. In 2017 Ana became an active foster parent which has been life changing for her. Ana is grateful to have found a home with AFFCNY where she can use her background to help support the families being served by the Coalition.
When Ana is not talking about how becoming a foster parent changed her life, you might catch her talking about food, cooking food, eating food, or thinking about food, and more specifically her love of cheese – because Wisconsin.
