We’re pre-adoptive parents and we’ve been told that we will have to put the children on our health insurance after adoption.

I thought I heard that Medicaid can continue after adoption?   

Can it?

Yes. Medicaid can continue after adoption. When a child is adopted from foster care and eligible for Title IV-E, that eligibility provides adoption assistance as well as Medicaid coverage, regardless of family income, for that child until.
