Abbott House

Services Provided: Therapeutic Foster Boarding Home Program (TFBH) provides foster homes for special high-needs children and adolescents birth to 21 years of age. Once you contact Abbott House to become a foster parent, you will be invited to an orientation session which covers foster parenting. You will undergo a screening process which requires a background check, application process, provide medical history and physical exam, home study, and a training process. We also provide group residential services and day programs for developmentally disabled children and adults.


Rockland County Department of Social Services

Services Provided: Rockland County Department of Social Services is looking to find a permanent (single, partnered or married) family for children and teens who are available for adoption. We are looking for single people or families to adopt children who are school aged or teenagers. RCDSS trains and certifies adoptive parents in the Model Approach to Parenting Partnerships (MAPP).

 


St Dominic’s Family Services

Services Provided: The Family Foster Care Program is a Bronx-based program that has a lengthy history of helping children and families. The program currently provides foster and kinship care to approximately 400 children who have been referred to the agency through the Administration for Children’s Services, as well as approximately 50 additional children in its Treatment Family Foster Care unit.
