A best practice training for adoptive, foster and kinship caregivers.
In this workshop, we’ll view Foster Parents Speak: Crossing Bridges and Fostering Change, the Coalition’s award-winning video (23 minutes) featuring the words, challenges and triumphs of New York’s foster parents. Following the viewing, we will facilitate a discussion based on the issues raised in the video and solicit audience input and thought about the challenges and rewards of being a foster parent.
