Ana Gundlach is the administrative coordinator for the Central New York and Southern Tier teams since she started working with the coalition in April of 2019.  She has been working in the non-profit and mental health field for over 12 years.  She received a BA in Social Welfare from the University of Wisconsin, Madison which is also her hometown.  Before moving to Ithaca in 2014 she lived in San Diego for 5 years where she learned about Case Management and Harm Reduction through her work in Clubhouse International and on an Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team.

After moving to Ithaca (which to Ana feels like a much smaller version of Madison, WI – only with more waterfalls) Ana continued working with Case Management and Harm Reduction.  In 2017 Ana became an active foster parent and in 2020 became an adoptive parent as well.  This parenting experience has been life changing for her. Ana is grateful to have found a home with AFFCNY where she can use her background to help support the staff and families being served by the Coalition.

When Ana is not talking about how becoming a foster and adoptive parent changed her life, you might catch her talking about food, cooking food, eating food, or thinking about food, and more specifically her love of cheese – because Wisconsin.
