Loren Nowak is the Director of the Office of Accommodative Services at Clarkson University in Potsdam. At Clarkson, he also serves as the Program Director for the CU Partnership for the Advancement of Learning, an initiative focused on supporting the needs of students with high functioning autism, attention disorders and executive function difficulties. Loren has a master’s degree in education, information technology and media management from SUNY Potsdam.
He has served as a foster parent liaison and mentor for foster parents in St. Lawrence County, where he and his partner Sara have fostered over thirty children and adopted three boys from foster care. Together, Loren and Sara founded Foster Parents of St. Lawrence County.
