Kylie joined the Coalition full-time in May of 2019 after interning and volunteering with AFFCNY throughout her undergraduate time at SUNY New Paltz. Motivated by her experience as an intercountry adoptee and her previous work with youth, Kylie founded the Coalition’s three Teen Adoptee Groups.

These groups, which serve youth 9-18 years of age, compose only a portion of the programming Kylie regularly partakes in. As a regular presenter for the Coalition’s Reframing Parenting Series and a weekly facilitator at parent support groups and trainings, Kylie is deeply immersed in cultivating a welcoming space for individuals of any age connected to the adoption constellation.

With a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, concentrating in Human Services, she also brings experience mentoring youth through Spence-Chapin Services to Families and Children in Manhattan and LGBTQ+ college students through the SUNY New Paltz Rivera House program. Along with her time spent interning with AFFCNY, she has interned at Green Chimneys in Brewster and the Brookside School in Cottekill.

Recently, she relocated to Ithaca with her fiancée, Mary, and their dog, Olive.
