 Participants will learn ideas for designing a comprehensive and engaging expectant parent class that includes understanding and fostering healthy infant development from 0 – 6 months, expectations, reflection on parents’ own parenting models, discussion of temperament (both the parent’s and the baby’s), key parenting behaviors, self-care (including signs of post-partum depression), problem solving and decision making, accessing and evaluating resources, and finding support and a parenting community.
