The Coalition curates and recommends a wide variety or helpful online resources and links included national organizations, New York specific agencies and hesitance, relevant adoption, foster and kinship blogs and even a list just for kids!

Our List of New York State Specific websites and organizations provide a wide array of services to support adoptive, foster and kinship families. From special education to LGBTQ support to legal advice, you will find information you need.

Kinship, Foster Care and Adoption Blogs and Online Communities

Using social media sites such as blogs, email groups, and Facebook pages can be a wonderful way to connect with, and gain a different perspectives from, others within the adoption, kinship and foster care community.  It can also be overwhelming to sort through the hundreds of options.  Here are a few that we have found to be of particular interest.

Online Spaces Just For Kids

This section has been created for those youths that have been in foster care or have been adopted. This information is provided to help those most affected learn about their rights, the laws and regulations that affect their lives.
