Free Community Forum with  Dave Melnick, LICSW

When caregivers are specifically taught the impact of stress on the brain, the result is often a profound shift in how we approach children and adolescents and how we address our own stress.

This forum will examine a model for understanding the neurobiology of stress, and how it affects relationship building, discipline, learning, self-care and the healing process. 

Participants will learn core concepts associated with the brain and the neurobiology of stress, become more adept at implementing specific strategies with their children, and gain insight into the impact of stress has on their capacity as a caregiver.
