SR Families invites you to attend Show Hope’s Hope for the Journey Conference, on Saturday, April 13 from 9 AM – 5 PM, a one-day simulcast event streamed from our Syosset Campus designed to encourage and equip parents and caregivers to meet the everyday needs of any child, especially those impacted by adoption and/or foster care.

The conference  works to resource churches, agencies, and other organizations as they support and equip the families, caregivers, and the communities they serve. This conference will benefit all individuals who care for children, especially those who have experienced loss, abuse, trauma, and/or neglect.

Together, we will gain a deeper understanding of our child(ren)’s unique needs and learn how to meet them effectively using Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI*) + The Gospel.

TBRI® is an attachment-based, trauma-informed intervention that is designed to meet the complex needs of vulnerable children. TBRI® uses Empowering Principles to address physical needs, Connecting Principles for attachment needs, and Correcting Principles to disarm fear-based behaviors. While the intervention is based on years of attachment, sensory processing, and neuroscience research, the heartbeat of TBRI® is connection.

Registration
$15 per person
Includes: registration fee, conference materials, snacks, and lunch.
