The Hope for the Journey Conference (formerly Empowered to Connect) seeks to encourage and better equip parents and caregivers who provide love and support to adoptive, foster, and kinship children who were impacted by trauma.
Structurally, the Hope for the Journey Conference will include five high-level learning modules based on the foundational principles of Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®) along with a new teaching component, The Gospel + TBRI.

Learning Module 1: An Introduction to Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) “Going Deeper” topic to explore Trauma’s Effect on Neurological Development. 
Learning Module 2: Connecting Principles “Going Deeper” topic to cover The Connection Journey through Stressful Experiences.
Learning Module 3: Empowering Principles “Going Deeper” topic to cover Empowering within the Home. 
Learning Module 4: Correcting Principles “Going Deeper” topic to focus on Correcting Principles and Teens. 
Learning Modules 5: TBRI and the Gospel Panel Discussion – Trauma Competency & Care within the Church/Youth Ministries
