One of the goals of the KinCare Coalition is to provide our members with the resources and support they need to be successful. Our monthly Zoom is one way for us to hear from you about your specific needs and how we can better serve you.

During the Legislative Session, starting in January, we focus on policy. However, in June, we pivot to programs. 

Please join us on June 13, when we’ll talk about: 

• Programs and events you have planned for the summer;
• Resources you need to be successful;
• Ways to build community among coalition members; and
• How we can help each other with our important work.

In May, in addition to a Legislative update, we talked about special events like Drive-In Movie Nights, Family Photo Sessions, and challenges in recruiting and retaining staff. 

We hope you’ll come prepared to share your thoughts and ideas. Your voice is important, and our conversation makes the coalition stronger.

The NYS KinCare Coalition is a group of kinship caregivers, service providers, and other stakeholders who are committed to advancing the cause of kinship care in New York. They serve as the voice on kinship issues ranging from access to available benefits, custodial and family court issues, and funding for kinship support services throughout the state.
