We are the Membership Committee chairs at the Adoptive and Foster Family Coalition of New York, New York State’s foster and adoptive family association. Knowing that strong families mean strength and stability for children, we provide support, information and advocacy for foster, adoptive and kinship families.

We are in the process of recruiting additional board members for our organization. We read your profile on Boardserve and thought you might be interested in learning more about us. We have a very engaged board with opportunities to meet the families we serve at our annual conference. The work our organization does is essential. The Adoptive and Foster Family Coalition of New York has a state-wide focus. Our board members are mainly based in the New York City metro area and our board meetings generally occur in the city as well. Attached is our Board Prospectus.
