Dr. Alicia Pointer is Orange County’s Commissioner of Health.  Prior to becoming Commissioner, Dr. Pointer was the Chief of Pediatrics at Cornerstone Family Healthcare in Newburgh, NY. She also directed the STAR Foster Program which provides medical care, mental health support and healthcare coordination for the children in foster care in Orange County. At her heart, she is a community pediatrician who wants all families to have access to the tools they need to raise healthy kids.
