Chauntavia started working for the Coalition at the end of 2021 as a mentor for adopted children . Chauntavia was born and raised in Ithaca NY and is one of seven adopted siblings. 

 

Chauntavia graduated from SUNY Cortland on 2017 with a Bachelors in Sociology. Her most recent work has been for Unity House of Cayuga County and The Advocacy Center of Tompkins County. 

 

Chauntavia has a huge passion for social work and enjoys supporting her fellow adoptees.
