Children and adults prenatally exposed to alcohol show disabilities in social and adaptive function that persists throughout their life.

This conference will provide an expansive overview of diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and implications of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD). Attendees will leave with an understanding of FASD and how to advocate for needed intervention in the medical, social services, mental health, educational and juvenile justice systems. Opportunity to network and build local coalitions with professionals working with children and adults with FASD.

Target audience includes physicians, nurses, disability rights lawyers, child advocates, juvenile and criminal attorneys, teachers, early intervention specialists and parents of children with FASD.
