For Adoptive, Foster and Kinship Families

Resources for adopted youth, foster youth and youth being raised by adults other than their biological parents.

Beyond High School is a comprehensive presentation for adoptive, foster and kinship families that explains post high school options with regard to higher education. The presentation will address specific New York State and Federal resources available for students who are adopted,are in foster care or who are being raised by adults other than their biological parents.

The Coalition’s presentation will help alleviate some of the anxiety and direct students and their families by providing information and tools that will assist them in their pursuit of higher education.

Our apologies; the Adoptive and Foster Family Coalition of New York will be rescheduling this workshop due to staff illness. It will be presented at the 30th Annual New York State Foster Care and Adoption Conference as planned and we will shall set a date for a local workshop in the near future.
