== WHO WE ARE AS A GROUP==

We are a group of folks that are interested in learning how childhood toxic stress and trauma affects us as adults – and how we can heal ourselves.

We meet on the 4th Tuesday of each month, are peer-led, and bring in speakers to educate ourselves on everything from different healing paths to the neuroscience behind it all.

We are actively looking for future presenters to speak with us for 30 – 45 minutes.  If you or anyone you know is interested please contact Lynn Coffey at lynn@lynncoffey.com

== ABOUT THIS MONTH’S SPEAKER ==

Sheila McCue, LCSW, originally from Pittburgh, PA was a national community organizer for 20 years.  During that time, she developed a class based philosophy within social justice. Her focus was on collective empowerment.  Clinical social work brought her into the concentration of individual empowerment through healing.

Directing the Trauma Program at Suicide Prevention and Crisis Service for 6 years has deepened her understanding of suffering and healing.

She is our on call therapist for the group meetings and has a deep understanding of how stress and trauma can affect our lives.

== ABOUT THIS MONTH’S TOPIC ==
