Parenting children of loss and trauma is distinctly different than raising children from birth.
Come together with other parents in a safe, no-judgment space facilitated by an adoptive parent to share and connect with others.

Support Group Dates, Times and Topics:

Meetings are held at the Suffern Free Library located at 210 Lafayette Avenue in Suffern and they start at 6PM. 

  • September 19th, 2018: Short presentation followed by time for discussion and questions. All are welcome.
  • November 19th, 2018:  Holiday Stress: Theirs and Ours
  • January 14th, 2019: Speaking to adult adoptees and adults who spent time in foster care as children about their experiences.
