In support of social distancing due the corona virus/COVID-19 outbreak, the Adoptive and Foster Family Coalition of New York has suspended all our in-person meetings and events scheduled.

We are making our support groups and trainings available remotely. Check Event listings below for more information and details on how to join in!

As a reminder our, private online support group, the New York Adoptive, Foster and Kinship Parenting Support Group, is just a click away on Facebook and can provide instant peer support for all our families.

ONLINE SUPPORT GROUP

The 24/7 HelpLine will continue to be available at 888-354-1342

We hope that everyone stays safe and healthy in the coming days.

Now, please go wash your hands.

Come hang with other adoptive parents, share food, laughter and experiences while your adopted teens have their own space!

Please join us for our monthly support group for families with adopted teenagers.

Our parent group provides an educational space for adoptive parents to connect and share strategies about navigating the unique experience of raising adopted teenagers.

Your teens are invited to come.

The teen group is lead by adult adoptees who provide fun, engaging, activities and an opportunity for teens to connect with their adopted peers.

We also provide time each month for the parents and the teens to connect on a deeper level, build a stronger connection with each other, and ultimately strengthen the family as a whole.

Light refreshments will be provided. Monthly registration strongly encouraged. Come share and learn with us!
