Free for all Adoptive Parents, Relative Caregivers and Foster Parents

Parenting children who were adopted or spent time in foster care is distinctly different than raising children from birth.  Come together with other parents in a safe, no-judgment space facilitated by other adoptive parents to share and connect with others.

Reframing Parenting Monthly Parent Training Workshops in Pomona

During these workshop training, we will explore: Building connections with your child before correcting their misbehaviors by using an attitude of play, acceptance, curiosity and empathy. Supporting your child through their sometimes difficult behavior to get them back on track to more socially acceptable behavior. Concepts of self-care, figuring out where your relationship with your child is blocked and how to deepen connections with them.
