If you are an family who has adopted a child or are caring for a child through a G-Docket, Article 17, informal, fictive, or KinGap Guardianship or custody, AND live in one of New York city’s five boroughs (Brooklyn, Staten Island, Manhattan, Bronx, Queens) or Broome, Cayuga, Chemung, Cortland, Dutchess, Nassau, Madison, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, Suffolk, Tompkins, Ulster or Westchester Counties, then please fill out the AGAPE enrollment form below.

The Adoptive and Guardianship Assistance Program for Everyone (AGAPE) is the Coalition’s support, information and educational program open to all adoptive families and relative caregivers who have custody or guardianship of children and who are living in:

Broome, Cayuga, Chemung, Cortland, Dutchess, Nassau, Madison, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, Suffolk, Tompkins, Ulster or Westchester Counties

AGAPE Families access free membership to the AGAPE support community on the Coalition’s private AFFCNY.Network and the New York Adoptive, Foster and Kinship Parenting Support Group on Facebook. Our toll free statewide HelpLine is answered 24/7.
ONE ON ONE FAMILY SUPPORT
Our Family Support Specialists offer in-home and virtual support plus personal advocacy to help secure services. Our team will work with your whole family to determine how we can best help.
FREE TRAININGS & EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOPS
Once enrolled, all AGAPE Families are invited to all Coalition hosted trainings, workshops, videos and educational events on a variety of topics related to foster care, adoption, child development, family court, trauma and attachment.
A NETWORK OF PARENT SUPPORT GROUPS
Connect with other parents, both virtually now and, again, someday in our own local areas, AGAPE Families find support in the understanding of other parents who have been “there”.
The Coalition’s Adoption and Guardianship Assistance Program for Everyone (AGAPE) is funded by the Regional Permanency Resource Centers initiative of the New York State Office of Children and Family Services.
