Services Provided: I specialize in helping parents who have children with trauma and attachment issues, especially foster and adopted children. I offer telephone-based consultation services to help parents better understand and respond to their children’s difficult behaviors and other problems. My approach is a combination of careful listening, helping parents understand the dynamics that underlie problem behaviors, and giving suggestions for how parents can respond in ways that meet the child’s underlying needs so that problem behaviors are changed into healthier behaviors.
