Danielle Maniscalco is an American diplomat, having lived and worked in many countries, including Venezuela, Iraq, Italy, and the Philippines, to help advance the foreign policy and diplomacy goals of the United States. She has had recent experience as a Foster America Fellow working at the New York City Administration for Children’s Services to support the agency’s efforts to improve racial and LGBTQ equity. Dani has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Villanova University and a MA in International Affairs from Columbia University in New York City. 

Dani has served as a mentor for many years and in many contexts. She enjoys talking to young people about how to make their goals a reality. She was adopted along with her twin sister to an incredible mom and dad who have committed everything to help them feel loved and supported. Dani enjoys sharing her adoptive experience with others as an example of how families come in all shapes and sizes and can thrive with love, shared commitment, and support.
