Services Provided: Worked for approximately five years in foster care with teens and young adults (14-21). I’m extremely knowledgeable about adolescent development (i.e. brain, emotional, etc.) and the impact of trauma on that development. I have trained 100s of foster/adoptive parents on how to parent a foster/adoptive youth. I currently provide individual, family, couple, and group treatment for ages 14+ using family systems and interpersonal therapies. As a foster/adoptive parent of a now 21 year old male, I understand the complexities of raising a youth who has been traumatized by entering, growing up, and aging out of foster care.
