Services Provided:  From an attachment perspective, I provide individual therapy and family therapy for adoptees and adoptive parents. I have worked for many years with adolescents as well as adults, and am adopted myself. I have trained with Dan Hughes in Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy, and in AEDP, Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy. Both these models are rooted in the developing field of affective neuroscience, which focuses on how the body and brain are organized by one’s emotional and attachment experiences. Both also emphasize creating a safe space in which to explore, resolve and integrate previous attachment ruptures by providing a healing attachment experience.
