Services Provided: Offers pre and post adoption consultations and services for ages three through adolescence. Treatment focus on: emotional trauma, attachment, depression, anxiety, behavior and school related issues. Professionally connected with psychoneurologists should the need for psychoneurological or psychoeducational evaluation be required. Parental guidance and support (including but not limited to validation and behavior tools) is offered. Help in understanding cultural aspects of behavior vs. behavior problems, and assistance in navigating differences in families formed by adoption and help for adoptees to process his/her feelings about his/her biological parents and adopted parents.
