The Coalition regularly receives helpline calls from family members looking for legal guidance and attempts to connect callers with direct legal assistance whenever possible. These families are in need of attorneys who have knowledge of adoption and foster care, as well as child welfare law and regulation.

The Adoptive and Foster Family Coalition of New York is looking to partner with attorneys and firms across the state who are willing to work with adoptive, foster and kinship families. We are developing a free online referral page for New York families and we invite you to be added to the growing Legal Referral Directory list.  There is no charge for listing your services in the directory in order to provide current and helpful information for New York State Adoptive and Foster families in need. It is limited to legal professionals and services in New York state. If you have more than one physical location, please fill out a separate form for each address.
