Coalition’s Summer Book Read 2022

Join us this summer as we read and discuss various Children’s Books and Literature.

Starting June 29th FROM 7PM -8PM and then every other Wednesday after that, the Coalition’s own Danielle Skelly will provide examples of various adoption friendly children’s literature and will facilitate a discussion after reading a children’s book, or two!

Together you will address the various themes in the book.

• know which books might help you address needed Communication within your family.
• which kids books provide the best models for specific topics.
• learn how to build off of topics and provide a safe space for kids to talk about big feelings. 
• get in touch with your own inner child and empathize at a deeper level.

You are all invited to read along with us and to join in thoughtful conversation!
