We have a support group just for YOU! The parent who is doing the most rewarding and challenging job in the world!

We know single parenting isn’t for the faint of heart and we face unique issues. We don’t have a partner to “tag out” with when our kid is overwhelming us with their needs or to share the sense of pride when our kid learns to walk, scores a goal or graduates from high school. Our hope is to have a safe place where you can connect with other single parents to share your triumphs and joy, your strategies for staying sane amidst the chaos and also find new ways to recharge and take care of the most important person in your child’s life…YOU!

Renee Hettich and Ellen Earley will be our co-facilitators. Renee is a single parent to 4 children and a former single foster and kinship parent, as well as a LMSW and author! She will bring her 25 year of experience in parenting as well as her professional knowledge to our group and help us navigate the realities of single parenting. Ellen has been a single parent to her three children for 15 years and is now a single Nana to her grandson. She will also bring a unique perspective as an adult adoptee to our discussions.

Every month we will explore a topic that relates to being a single parent such as juggling the daily demands of parenting on our own, financial strategies, and the reality and responsibility of being a sole caregiver.

We know time is precious to single parents and we would be honored to be on your schedule as part of your self care journey.
