The Adoptive and Foster Family Coalition of New York will be offering Certificates of Conference Training Hours upon request for the 2024 “FInding Resilience ” Conference. These are NOT social worker CUEs, but foster parent training hour certificates.
You must attend each workshop or presentation when it is a LIVE EVENT as scheduled whether in-person or on Zoom in the AFFCNY.Network. We cannot offer training certificates for video playbacks.

Please note the following:
- In-person attendees will be verified though physical attendance sheets; it is the attendees responsibility to ensure their name and correct email are listed before the close of each workshop.
- The Coalition uses Zoom reporting tools to confirm online attendance. If seeking Conference Training Hours Certificates, you must use the same email that you used to register in order to access the Zoom event. For example, if you register with a work email and join the meeting with your personal email we cannot easily tie the two accounts together and no certificate will be issued.
- Please ensure, DURING THE CONFERENCE, that your visible Zoom Name also matches the name on your certificate request form as that name is recorded in the report. For example, if you registered as “Anne Smith” and requested certificates for “Anne Smith” but the Zoom name on the report is “Grandma Annie” with no visible email – we cannot issue Anne Smith a Training Hours Certificate. - We can only issue ONE training hours certificate per individual email/ zoom account. This is very important for parents who join together. IF BOTH parents in the household require training hours then BOTH MUST log into the Zoom event separately with matching emails and names (see above). Feel free to watch together on on one device, but have Parent #2 also logged in on a separate device under their own account.
- One request form per each person. Each person requesting hours needs their own form filled out. For example, Anne and Joe Smith will each have their OWN emails and Zoom accounts, so they each need a separate request. You MAY request the total number of conference workshops on the one form. For example; if you went to 5 Workshops and one Keynote, you will receive ONE Training Hours Certificate for the total verified Conference hours in which you participated.
- We can only provide certification based on the amount actual time reported. IE: a presentation might have been 1 and a half hours long, but if you left/ logged off/ 30 minutes into the presentation, you will only be provided a training certificate for that half hour. The certificate will be the for the total number of hours as documented on Zoom meeting reporting tools. In-person credits the each workshop per attendance sheet documentation.
For attendees requesting Conference Training Hours Certificates, please fill out the form below with the information as required. Please refer to the workshop schedule and description as needed to ensure you are requesting the correct events.
Certificates will be emailed back in a printable PDF form. Please note that we try to have certificates request fulfilled within 72 hours for generic events; however, for the Conference please anticipate longer delays due to the sheer volume of requests and verification reports needed. We appreciate your understanding.

In addition, please note that MANY EMAIL ACCOUNTS WILL AUTOMATICALLY PUT ANY EMAIL WITH A PDF ATTACHED INTO SPAM. We cannot control the settings on individual accounts. Please search your email box for “AFFCNY” or manually search your Spam, Trash or Junk folders for the certificate and/or correspondence.
